Brett A. Moyer
CEO, President, and Director
Brett A. Moyer joined Focus Enhancements in May 1997. On September 30, 2002 Mr. Moyer assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer and became a member of the Board of Directors. From May 1997 to September 29, 2002, Mr. Moyer served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. From February 1986 to April 1997, Mr. Moyer worked at Zenith Electronics Corporation, Glenview, Illinois, where he had most recently been the Vice President and General Manager of Zenith's Commercial Products Division. Mr. Moyer is also a member of the Board of Directors of NeoMagic Corporation (NASDAQ GM: NMGC), a developer of semiconductor chips and software that enable multimedia applications for handheld devices and HotChalk, a developer of software for the educational market. Mr. Moyer has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Beloit College in Wisconsin and a Masters of International Management with a concentration in finance and accounting from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).
Gary L. Williams
Secretary, Executive Vice President of Finance & CFO
Gary L. Williams has served as Secretary, Executive Vice President of Finance and CFO since February 2005. Mr. Williams joined as Secretary, Vice President of Finance and CFO in January 2001, in connection with the acquisition of Videonics, Inc. Mr. Williams had served Videonics as Vice President of Finance, CFO and Secretary since February 1999. From February 1995 to January 1999, Mr. Williams served as Videonics' Controller. From July 1994 to January 1995, he served as Controller for Western Micro Technology, a publicly traded company in the electronics distribution business. From January 1990 to June 1994, Mr. Williams worked in public accounting for Coopers & Lybrand LLP. Mr. Williams is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from San Diego State University.
Michael F. Conway
Chief Technology Officer, Systems Group and Corporate Strategy
Michael F. Conway joined Focus Enhancements on January 2001 in connection with the acquisition of Videonics, Inc. In October 2008 he assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer and Corporate Strategy where his responsibilities include strategic product planning and R and D management. Mr. Conway had served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development since March 2005 and Vice President of Marketing for Videonics since February 2000, and prior to that was the Director of Technical Marketing where he focused on Internet marketing. Mr. Conway joined Videonics in May 1996 with the acquisition of the start-up KUB Systems Inc., where he served in various management and engineering positions. From 1988 to 1993, Mr. Conway was a Product Engineer for Abekas Video Systems and from 1985 to 1987 was an Operations Engineer with WLEX-TV, an NBC affiliate in Lexington, Kentucky. Mr. Conway serves on the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Engineering Emmy Awards Committee and is a member of SMPTE. Mr. Conway holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, a Technology Management Certificate from California Institute of Technology, and he is an ICIA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
Michael Hudson
Chief Technology Officer, Semiconductor Group
Michael Hudson joined Focus Enhancements in June 2008 for the new position of Chief Technology Officer of the Semiconductor Group through the acquisition of AudioMojo, where he was founder and Chief Technical Officer. Prior to AudioMojo, Mr. Hudson served as Principle Engineer at NVIDIA where he was responsible for several cross platform architecture and strategic product initiatives. Mr. Hudson has also served as Chief Technical Officer of Diamond Multimedia where he was instrumental in the acquisition of technology underlying the Rio player, the first MP3 player on the market. Mr. Hudson was with Diamond for 7 years. Since beginning his career at Intel in 1979 and served for 12 years, Mr. Hudson not only worked on Intel's first motherboard, but was involved with the design and development of semiconductor products in the audio, media distribution, and consumer electronics industries. Mr. Hudson's experience also includes creating, leading, and providing technical direction to teams ranging from 2 to 150 engineers.
Tony Parker
Vice President of Product Marketing, Semiconductor Group
Tony Parker joined Focus Enhancements in September 2007 as Vice President of Product Marketing. Mr. Parker has 25 years of experience in semiconductor marketing leadership, with extensive expertise in wireless markets, including WiFi and UWB. Prior to joining Focus Enhancements he was director of marketing with Cirrus Logic for ARM system-on-chip solutions and DSP audio products for decoding and post processing of sound effects targeting AVR, DTV and automotive applications. Prior to that, he was senior manager of corporate strategy and technology for Agere Systems, directing and leveraging company-wide resources across multiple product families including data networking, mobile, and storage businesses. Parker also has a proven track record of developing and delivering the right products to semiconductor markets while working in key product management and marketing management positions at Texas Instruments, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies. Mr. Parker holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University, Peoria Illinois, as well as an MBA degree from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY.
Norman Schlomka
Senior Vice President of European Operations
Norman Schlomka has served as Managing Director of COMO Computer and Motion GmbH ("COMO"), Focus Enhancements' wholly owned European subsidiary, which develops and manufactures video editing and archiving solutions. He has served as our Senior Vice President of European Operations since February 2006. Mr. Schlomka joined us in February 2004 as Managing Director of COMO and Vice President of European Operations in connection with our acquisition of COMO. Mr. Schlomka was a founder of COMO, and had served as Managing Director of COMO since its inception in 1990. Mr. Schlomka holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Braunschweig, Germany.
